Summer is such a fun time at the Museum of Making Music, with families and tourist groups visiting in droves. It's hard to believe that it's already nearing an end. Soon we'll be hosting school field trips and planning our fall programs, concerts, and Community Days.
One of the most wonderful things we do each fall is welcome a new group of beginning adult musicians. Both of our adult community music-making programs — the North Coast Strings and New Horizons Bands — are gearing up for their fall adventures. Each offers several levels of ensembles to accommodate as many musicians as possible, along with an entry point for adults learning an instrument for the first time, even those with no prior music experience.
Is your child, grandchild, or neighbor taking up an instrument in the school band or orchestra? Have you ever thought, "Wouldn't that be fun?" Now is your chance to join.
