Field Trip Request

Thank you for your interest in the Museum of Making Music's field trip program.  Please fill out the following information to get started on booking your field trip.  Please note, this request does not guarantee the availability of the dates you are selecting.  We will be able to determine availability after we have received and reviewed your request.

Requested Field Trip Dates

Please provide three (3) unique dates and times for your field trip with the understanding that we cannot guarantee the availability of your dates. We ask that you request dates that are at least 2 weeks in advance. Field trips are only offered during the Museum's normal hours of operations: Tuesday through Sunday.

Cost

For groups of 10 or more, the group rate is $8 per student and $12 per adult. School staff members receive complimentary admission.

Title One Schools

Field trips are free for schools that are Title One designated. Funding for transportation is available for Title One Schools within San Diego County. Reservations are subject to availability.

Does my school qualify?

Duration

Field trips are scheduled for 1.5 hours for grades K-2, and 2 hours for grades 3 and up. Field trip start times are typically reserved for 9:30 am and 11:30 am Tuesdays through Fridays but can be adjusted (based on availability) to accommodate specific group needs.

Field Trip Requirements

Minimum Size

Field trips are offered for groups of 10 or more.

Maximum Size

The Museum can accommodate groups up to 60 students. However, if your group has over 60 students, please contact us to make special arrangements.

Schedule in Advance

We ask that you call to schedule your field trip at least 2 weeks in advance. Field trips are popular at the Museum! Availability is not guaranteed.
