Shantaia is a three-time SCMA award-winning artist and songwriter from Spiritwood, Saskatchewan, now making waves from her base in Nashville. Known for her powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence, she’s opened for major acts like Kane Brown, Midland, and Chris Lane, and shared festival stages with Tyler Childers and Hailey Whitters. A staple at top Canadian festivals, Shantaia was crowned the Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase Winner, leading to her 2024 single “What I Wouldn’t Do” via Universal Music Canada—a smoldering release that further cemented her as one of country’s freshest rising voices.
Expanding her reach across the U.S., Shantaia has performed at AmericanaFest, Key West Songwriters Festival, and opened for John Mayer at the She Rocks Awards x NAMM. Her concept album Exes and Friends won Country Album of the Year at the 2024 SCMA Awards and has surpassed 5 million global streams, featuring the Top 35 radio hit “Broke to Brand New.” Fresh off her feature on Hunter Brothers’ “Better Days” and a cross-Canada tour, Shantaia continues to build a global fan base with her soulful, modern country sound. Her next single, “Rose Colored Glasses,” drops July 25th.
